About the role
- Support project teams with SAP transports during major releases, dual maintenance/retrofit and object conflict resolution.
- Maintain procedure documentation and present it to the wider team.
- Propose, document and present technical governance standards and best practices.
- Capture access control requirements from business process owners, product owners and other stakeholders.
- Work with business analysts, organisational governance teams and SMEs, and liaise with cybersecurity, audit, and risk and controls teams.
- Work with project managers on access control design, build and test plans, and identify project risks.
- Work with training and deployment teams on content, delivery and communications, and take part in technical forums and events.
What you will do
- Design access roles for S/4HANA across domains such as finance, supply, procurement and engineering.
- Apply best practices for role build, testing and transport.
- Define a role transport strategy for a complex multi-tier environment with separate sustain and project tiers.
- Propose security best practices for solutions built on SAP BTP.
- Review access controls and authentication protocols for third-party integrations.
- Define SoD risks and mitigating controls with process experts and GRC teams, and update the SoD risk matrix for new transaction codes and Fiori apps.
- Review custom code and propose authorisation checks so organisational controls can be implemented through roles.
- Review and update authorisation defaults for transactions, Fiori apps and Web Dynpro applications.
- Define audit controls and work with auditors to gather internal and external audit evidence.
- Help design, document and improve SAP security administration policies, processes and procedures.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Science, Computer Science or a related field.
- 8 to 10 years of SAP Security experience.
- At least two S/4HANA greenfield or brownfield implementations.
- Experience on complex SAP rollout projects.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
